There are many types of men within our community who affiliate to many types of interests. Some men who started life in the wrong biological body, identify with the term gender dysphoric, transsexual or transgender. FTM Aotearoa is but one of many support networks, designed for those who feel they fit within this concept with a Maori basis of nurturing the spirit (wairua). This nurturing can also extend to friends and family if they so wish. FTM Aotearoa is about real everyday life.

If you are considering FTM Aotearoa as an avenue for you to pursue or rekindle – please do not hesitate to make contact – “everything to gain, nothing to lose”

These words from a well known Maori proverb depict FTM Aotearoa’s vision

If you ask me, what is the most important treasure in the world
